To The Kindergartners

As this year is coming to an end, we have some important things to tell the Kindergartners coming up about what they are going to learn in 1st grade!

Peyton says, "You guys will learn lots of stuff in 1st grade."
Scarlette says, "You will learn reading, math, and do fractions. I would like for you to grow up to be very good readers."
Claire says, "When you're in 1st grade, you will have to do a lot of math."
Adrian says, "You will be so smart!"
AJ says, "You will learn addition and subtraction."
Alivia says, "You will have a good teacher!"
Teegan says, "In 1st grade, you will learn to be a good friend."
Ava says, "You will learn about snails, solids, and liquids."
Aiden says, "You will work hard and be a good friend."
Sophia says, "You will learn to be a good role model."
Zandyr says, "You will learn about volcanoes."
Trevor says, "You will learn how to make a boat in 1st grade."
Connor says, "You will learn about time."
Lily says, "You will learn how to make friends."
Talia says, "You will learn about verbs! It's an action word!"
Hunter says, "You will learn about nouns!" (That's a person, place, or thing!)
Porter says, "You will take AR tests."
Lorelai says, "You will earn star bucks!"
Mike says, "You will read a lot!"
Elise says, "You will learn how to make a ten!"

Our classroom agrees that the most important part of 1st grade, is our friendships, and becoming one big family!                                                       ~ Mrs. Ketzenberg's Crazy Kids.
